Designer Thought:
Designer Hiu Wee’s approach focused on preserving memories and facilitating family gatherings. By retaining the existing structure and infusing it with modern functionality, the design aimed to create a modern yet warm home that honored the past while embracing the future.

Design Concept:
The design concept centered around the heartwarming memories and family gatherings that the house had witnessed over the years. Hiu Wee’s intention was to enhance the house’s functionality while maintaining its cozy charm through subtle yet meaningful updates.

Customer Feedback:
The family’s feedback was both appreciative and surprised. They marveled at the advanced level of design that they didn’t anticipate finding in Sarawak. The design exceeded their expectations, and they were amazed by the existence of such a design approach in their region.
